Nora Bales, M.S.

Nora has extensive experience working as a botanist and ecologist across the American West, with a particular focus on grasslands. She holds an M.S. in soil science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and pays special attention to the role of soil in restoration.

Ember Bradbury, M.S., Ph.D.

Ember holds an M.S. from the University of Michigan Conservation Ecology and Environmental Justice and a Ph.D. from Colorado State University in Forestry and Rangeland Stewardship. She integrates across qualitative and quantitative lines of work to design and implement lasting restoration strategies in the drylands of the American West, with an emphasis on co-developing adaptive-management strategies with farmers and ranchers.

Mary Van Dyke, Ph.D.

Mary holds a Ph.D. from the University of California Los Angeles. She pioneered Trillium’s custom seed mix design methods and is an expert on overcoming site-specific invasive plant communities to implement lasting restoration projects. Mary has expertise in restoration projects on working lands, including farms, ranches, and renewable energy developments.
